My grandmother was Marjorie Bucknam, and she married Charles H Richardson of Oakland, Maine. (found birth certificate says, Marjorie's mother was Georgia, and Father was Henry Charles, Bucknam no name of the new born on the certificate. I thought I was on the rt track with these names. Marjorie's Maine, death certificate says her father was unknown, and her mother was Georgia. Marriage records of Marjorie and Charles Richardson, say that both parents were unknown. Marjorie's Death Certificate says her mother’s name was Georgia. The family has a few different stories, but no one really knew anything about her parents. She was raised by Mrs., Tilton, in Oakland, Maine. Well this research has thrown me off several times. My family has a book given to Marjorie Bucknam for the Christmas in 1914, and was signed by an Aunt Maude. When I researched Henry Charles Bucknam, I found out that he had two daughters with. Caroline Augustus Hopkins , and their names were Maude, and Georgia H Bucknam. I have been following this path for the last several days, and now I find out that there is another Georgia L Bucknam, that was born about the same time Henry C Bucknams daughter Georgia, and she died in 1889. Ok the question for you. Do you know how Georgia L Bucknam, the daughter of Charles H Bucknam died? Georgia L would have been about 12 or 13 years of age when she died. This puts questions into my head about how did she die? (maybe childbirth). This may change my whole roots. LOL! If you can be of assistance, I would greatly appreciate it.... Warmly, Cathy D Richardson
